What Kind of an Impact has NBFC had on the Neptune Beach Community

Neptune Beach, Florida: a gorgeous beachfront city just east of Jacksonville, miles of pure white sand extending to sparkling waters. There’s nothing better than strolling along, soaking up the sun and catching some waves, then settling down for some tasty chow. Steps away from the sand in the heart of the Town Center lies North Beach Fish Camp, a trendy and inviting restaurant serving up authentic dishes with creative twists.

The scene enveloping North Beach Fish Camp unfolds in a glorious view: hectic beach crowds bustling through the streets, a salty breeze tousling their clothes. In the distance, palm trees make way for entrance onto a sandy shore, the picture-perfect backdrop for diners. Patrons are stopped in their tracks at the sight of the restaurant, its homey appearance instantly welcoming. But the real lure inside? The prospect of fresh, succulent seafood delivered straight from the waters right outside their doors.

Upon entrance, diners are greeted by a spacious room with a modern but comfortable interior. A small, hardwood stage is set up for live entertainment, and large windows reveal palm trees swaying in the breeze. Round tables are located inside and out, and are set with classic white plates, elegant wine glasses, and steel buckets of beers. Managing to combine the perfect elements of a fancy atmosphere while remaining down-to-earth, the restaurant is inviting to and appealing to all.

The bar, with its marble counter-top and friendly bartenders drapes around the kitchen, where chefs are busily preparing each meal with care. The dining area is contemporary and familiar at once. The walls are adorned with beachy signs and photos, some with fun slogans. The servers, knowledgeable and helpful, go out of their ways to provide guests with extraordinary service.

One of three Florida restaurants owned by Ben Groshell, named one of the 100 Best Chefs in America in 2013, North Beach Fish Camp aims to provide fine cuisine to customers in a beautiful atmosphere with the added bonus of being casual and relaxing at the same time. The most attractive part about the restaurant, though, is the divine menu.

Expectations of delicious seafood are easily met by the straight-from-the-ocean fish. The variety is great, but the result is always the same: mouth-wateringly fantastic. Whether diners order seared yellow fin tuna or opt for the more casual fried clam strips, the seafood bursts with freshness. Dishes are expertly seasoned and generously portioned. Chefs account not only for taste, but for presentation as well. Each dish leaves the kitchen arranged gorgeously, and guests find their senses heightened.

The menu is varied without being overwhelming, and entrees are impressively paired with unique and delectable sides. While there are traditional seafood choices on the menu, guests will also be awed by the grilled octopus, fried gator tail, and contemporary gravies and sauces. With tons of eye-catching options, guests will hardly be able to choose one—just another reason to come back!

The Neptune Beach community gained a real gem with North Beach Fish Camp. With its sleek construction and welcoming atmosphere, beach-goers won’t be able to remember the days where they didn’t revel in its innovative, tantalizing seafood. New but sure to become legendary, the restaurant has made its mark in the beach community, and has somehow brightened the already sunny Neptune Beach.
