Toast to Spring With These Irresistible Seasonal Cocktails

Mint Julep With a Twist

You don’t have to be off to the races to sip on a classic Julep. Here’s our spin on the fan favorite.

2 Oz Bourbon of Choice

½ Oz Simple Syrup

2 Sprigs of Mint

¼ Cup Diced Pineapple

Crushed Ice

In a classic Julep cup or highball glass, muddle the pineapple chunks until they’re slightly shredded. Pour in the simple syrup and mint, then muddle it all together. Fill the cup with ice, then top with bourbon. Stir. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a cube of pineapple. You’ve got yourself a Mint Julep with a Florida spin!

Jax 75

A Floridian twist on the French 75. Get it? This is a great easy-to-drink cocktail for wine and liquor lovers.

1 ½ Oz Gin of Choice

½ Oz Raspberry Liqueur

¾ Oz Fresh Lemon Juice

½ Oz Clover Honey Syrup (combine equal parts honey and warm water)

2 Oz Dry Sparkling Wine

Lemon Peel for Garnish

You have to pull out your fancy cocktail shaker for this one. Shake first four ingredients with ice then strain into a classic Champagne flute. Garnish the chilled cocktail with a lemon twist on the rim.

Spa Water

Still liquor-heavy, so keep this one 21+. Warning: may cause daydreams of a luxe spa day at The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club or One Ocean.

1 ½ Oz. Gin of Choice

2 Oz. Aloe Vera Juice (sold at most supermarkets)

½ Oz Clover Honey Syrup (combine equal parts honey and warm water)

4 Slices Cucumber

Fresh Lime

Muddle three slices of cucumber and the honey syrup in a glass. Add the gin, aloe vera juice and a squeeze of lime. Mix then garnish with a cucumber and lime slice.

Spiced Strawberry Margarita

This one sounds friendly, but it’s not for the faint of heart. Brace yourselves for the jalapeño heat that’s coming your way.

1 Oz. Tequila of Choice

1 Oz. Jalapeño-Infused Tequila (sold at local liquor stores)

1 Oz. Lime Juice

¾ Oz. Simple Syrup

2 Strawberries

1 Jalapeño

In a cocktail shaker, muddle one strawberry. Add the ice and all other ingredients. Shake and pour into a glass, then garnish with a strawberry and jalapeño slice.
