It’s tough to beat a boozy citrus cocktail on a hot summer day in Florida. If you share the same sentiment, the North Beach Fish Camp crew is here with some go-to drink recipes to get you through this humidity. From frozen pineapple to freshly squeezed blood orange, here are three of our favorite ways to reinvent everyone’s favorite drink staple.
Frozen Pineapple Margaritas (With a Kick!)
Ingredients:
4 limes (¼ cup lime juice)
2 cups frozen pineapple, diced
½ jalapeno, seeded
¼ cup tequila
2 tbsp triple sec
1 cup
Ice
Sliced jalapeno and lime for garnish
Add everything except your garnishes into a blender and mix until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish.
Chili Mango Margaritas

Juice of 2 limes
Juice of 4 oranges
½ cup tequila
2 tbsp triple sec
3 tbsp agave nectar
Dash of hot sauce
Sea salt and chili powder mixture, for rim

Skinny Blood Orange Margaritas

2 blood oranges, squeezed
Juice of 1-2 limes
¼ cup silver tequila
1 tsp agave nectar
Pink himalayan sea salt, for rim
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add in the tequila, fresh juices and agave nectar. Shake for 30 seconds until ice cold. Strain into a glass and garnish with a salt rim and orange slice.
